Not much, it seems.

Recently, Secretary of Education Arne Duncan, a former professional basketball player who is in the president’s inner hoops circle, had this to say, as reported in The Swamp:

“It’s been very sporadic. We’ve played a couple times and we’re not in any good rhythm yet,” Duncan said during a visit to the [Chicago] Tribune earlier this week. “We keep saying we want to do more, but we are struggling to sort of figure it out.”

Then during Wednesday’s 100th Day Town Hall at Fox High School (in Jefferson County, Missouri) he said the following, in thanking the school for providing him with a welcoming gift — a new Fox Warriors basketball jersey:

“I will wear this with pride — if I ever get to play basketball again,” he told the crowd. “They’ve been keeping me a little busy.”

Obama with UConn

Like many other people who follow the Baller-in-Chief, we hope that’s not completely true.

Mr. President, please get back onto a real court, into a real game.  Seriously.

Or else, we hope you’re at least getting your 6:00 a.m. hoops drills from Reggie Love and working up a good sweat.

Come to think of it though, maybe you’re doing something after all … at least judging from your perimeter shooting the other day with UConn.
