A basketball observation by Todd S. Purdum at Politico.com in his article Climate Change In Washington:

But an invitation to watch — or, better, to play — basketball with the new president is surely the greatest mark of having arrived, at least for those who can’t manage to get invited to a Wednesday night pizza-and-strategy session with the president’s senior adviser, David Axelrod.
