Bow Wow: Obama’s Basketball Court at White House Is a ‘Connection’

(CNSNews.com) – Rapper Bow Wow told CNSNews.com he voted for Barack Obama because he “appeals to the youth” and that he and Obama have a “connection” through a shared love for basketball.

“It’s really a connection. He just really appeals to the youth,” said Bow Wow at the Hip Hop Summit Inaugural Ball Monday. “I’m the youth. I’m only 22 years old. I’m about to turn 22 in March, and he just appeals to me.

“I’ve never heard of a president that plays basketball who would put a basketball court in the White House – he is cause that sounds like something Bow Wow would do if I was the president,” he added.

“So when I see that – it’s kind of just like, he’s normal. You know what I mean? I can reach him. There’s a lot in common and the message – he really cares so that’s why I voted for him,” said Bow Wow.

Bow Wow is currently signed to Columbia records. He has been rapping since he was 13 years old. His hit Billboard singles include, “Let Me Hold You,” “Bounce with Me” and “Like You.”
