Eugene Robinson writes about how people were scared to laugh at a joke that mentioned Barack Obama playing basketball for fear of being considered racist.
He may be right.
It’s really sad that in this nation of freedom we are being conditioned to fear the potential consequences of innocent speech and laughter. That the PC thought police have successfully invaded so many Americans’ consciousness is truly unfortunate.
