The story doesn’t end there. Yesterday, the two schools had a rematch at Maret. The over-achieving varsity squad played their hearts out. Patient, not taking stupid shots, and wearing Sidwell down. Even President Obama would have loved this game. Sidwell played some tough DC playground ball. They crushed Sidwell 50-41.

How do I know so much about the relatively insignificant elite private school basketball wars? My son, Thomas Carrington is a basketball coach at Maret!! A mother’s pride has no bounds even if the President-elect’s daughters’ school got whipped.
